Zeni fotografa situazioni urbane e, con l’aiuto di un software, isola le figure, cancella gli sfondi e ogni tanto anche qualche accessorio, per poi dipingere l’immagine creata. Nelle sue raffigurazioni concentra spesso personaggi che in realtˆ non sono mai stati nello stesso luogo o nello stesso tempo. Cancellando sia il background pubblico che quello privato, l’artista ricostruisce le identità per mezzo della pittura.

Zeni takes photographs of urban situations, and that he, with a little electronic helper, isolates the figures, erases the beackgroung and sometimes even some of the accessories of the figures, and then turns the result into painting. He merges people in the paintings that have, in reality, not been at the same place at the same time, and by erasing both the public and, as it were, also the private background, he rebuilds identities by painting.
